Rules/ Regulations Exhibits must be confined to the agreed upon space provided and must not obstruct the view of any adjourning exhibit. All material and wiring must conform to national/local electrical and safety rules and regulations. The nailing, tacking, screwing, or attaching of anything to the floors, walls, or any other part of the building will be strictly prohibited. Exhibit booths must be attended during set-up times, regular display hours, and dismantling times. The schedule of all the aforementioned times will be provided in the exhibitor packet and will be strictly enforced by DTTW staff. The demonstration of any instruments or equipment will not last over 20 seconds. This regulation will be strictly enforced by DTTW staff and any repeat violators will be temporarily or permanently removed from the exhibit hall. Banners used by Exhibitors in the exhibit hall will not be more than 6ft x 6ft or 6ft in diameter. DTTW reserves the right to close down any exhibit determined to be objectionable in the opinion of DTTW. Every reasonable opportunity will be given to the exhibitor to rectify any such situation prior to the Exhibit being removed from the exhibit hall. Exhibitors may only display items normally associated with their particular business. All Exhibitors must be approved by DTTW, no sharing or subletting of any sort will be permitted. Exhibitors may only use space approved by DTTW and must obtain all necessary local and state sales tax permits. Exhibitors must conduct all sales, demonstrations, distribution of literature and all other activities related to their business within the exhibit hall only. After all reasonable attempts at corrective action, DTTW may cancel the booth of any Exhibitor as result of the violation of any of the rules by and employee or representative of an exhibitor, thereby forfeiting all fees paid to DTTW. Any area or subject not discussed or reviewed will be subject to the decision of DTTW. While DTTW will provide reasonable security we are not responsible for the loss, theft, damage, injury or death of any exhibitors, staff, representatives, or property during the DTTW festival. The Exhibitors participation in the festival acknowledges these stipulations and releases DTTW of any responsibility. DTTW suggests Exhibitors secure insurance related to the entire festival. Booth space and advertising space in the festival booklett is available on a first come –first serve basis. Prospective Exhibitors and Advertisers should complete an Exhibitor Aggreement/ Application or Advertiser Application and return it to DTTW (Drumming to the World) ASAP along with indicated fees. Once fees are received the 1st requested or next available space will be assigned. If appropriate, any cost difference in fees received and subsequent space assigned will be post-marked for return to the Exhibitor or Advertiser within 14 days of receipt. All fees submitted are returnable upon request minus a 6% service fee, if requested prior to January 31, 2011. After this date there will be no refunds of any submitted fees. Fee returns will cancel any previously approved booth or advertising space. All confirmed exhibitors will receive and Exhibitor packet that will address all logistics, freight, and services required by the Exhibitor.
