Our Masters Sessions will feature widely recognized and accomplished drummers. These Drummers will conduct comprehensive Masters Sessions that will provide our participants with the knowledge and expertise they have gained throughout their many years of personal and professional experience that only the masters can provide. Don't miss it! Artists conducting the Masters Sessions will be announced at a later date.
Our workshops will literally be hands-on. They will be informative, exciting and educational. The workshops will feature qualified and respected instructors and performers from all over the world.
From the new drummer to the experienced one, from Jazz to Classical, from traditional marching to military, from Snare to Djembe, from Conga to Timpani, from basic rudament
s to the most intricate, we intended to cover it all for you! This is where, perhaps, the most important work of the festival will take place. The instruction of these various areas and interests will leave our participants wondering just which session to attend. There will truly be something for everyone! Don't miss it!
All presenters will be confirmed and announced one (1) week to the festival.
Like no other! This will be a scripted but non-scripted DRUMMERS ONLY JAM SESSION, open to all registered Festival participants. It will take place on Saturday morning of the Festival and will feature an orginal rhythm composed and performed by our Elder Honoree.
Let us know on your Registration Form what type of drum (i.e., size, tone, origin) or percussion instrument you'll bring. We will provide you with the correct CD of the rhythm upon your arrival so you'll be ready for Saturday. This will be great! We can't wait to see this come together!
All instruments for the Jam Session must comply with the instruments allowed policy in the competition section.
Our Banquet will be the culmination of the Festival. It will feature the announcement of the competition winners and prize/scholarship money along with a special performance by a top national or international drumming group.
As an added token of our gratitude, we will pay tribute to our Elder Honoree to show our appreciation for his/her many years of drumming and sharing with us. This will be a special moment and as it should be!
